The existing structure was completely removed before the base was extended slightly to accommodate new dwarf walls and pillars, using bricks carefully chosen to match the existing surrounding buildings.
After erecting the new double glazing frames which included a set of bi-fold door to give a feeling of bringing the adjacent garden inside, a timber roof structure was built filled with Celotex to provide adequate insulation. Additional insulation was also provided by way of a new floating floor and once finished with a uPVC cladded ceiling with matching fascia and guttering, the family now have a smart new room which can be used for a range of purposes.
